Tuition Information

Tuition and fees at Auburn University are reviewed and set by the Board of Trustees. Student Financial Services is responsible for assessing fees based on the appropriate factors. Students who have questions about their university bill can seek assistance by calling 334-844-4634 or by email at studentbilling@auburn.edu or in-person at 202 Mary Martin Hall.

PACT (Alabama Prepaid Affordable College Tuition Program) is a Section 529 prepaid college tuition program administered by the State of Alabama Treasurer’s office and has been closed to enrollment since 2008.

All Pre-Paid College Plans – All state plans, including Alabama PACT, require that the parent or student notify Student Financial Services that they wish to use their plan. Visit the Prepaid Tuition Plan Notification to complete the notification process.

Veterans Benefits – Veterans may be eligible for educational assistance. The Auburn University Veterans Resource Center helps students make the transition from military life to civilian life at AU. Please contact the VA Office at 334-844-8167 or visit the Auburn University Veterans Resource Center.

Military Tuition Assistance – Eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard may be eligible for tuition benefits. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses of its members. Visit the Military Tuition Assistance web site for detailed information.
