REGISTRATION ENDS SEPTEMBER 22
Fort Benning’s Help the Hooch is the installation’s annual river cleanup.
This is a chance for the Fort Benning community to make a positive impact on our watershed’s health and explore the beauty of the installation.
By donating your time, you’re directly improving the water quality of the communities and recreation areas that we enjoy at Fort Benning; as well as making a positive impact on the health of the environment.
Cleanup materials, such as trash bags and latex gloves, will be distributed. Once you arrive at your site, you will be greeted by your Site Captain and a safety briefing will commence. Site Captains are here for safety and additional guidance. They will answer any questions you may have after the briefing. You will then be released to start the cleanup.
